Okay, my cape project is on its way. I've chosen the fabric, a silk and wool green tweed.
Ma cape est en cours, j'ai choisi le tissu : un tweed en soie et laine d'un vert - gris.

 The major seams are sewn, now I need to decide upon the collar.
Le plus gros est cousu, mais je dois prendre une décision concernant le col. Le patron d'origine est sans col, mais étant une frileuse pathologique, il me semble plus sage de prévoir un col...

The original pattern is a collarless cape, but I'm always chilling, so it may be wise to built a collar... but which kind? Peter pan, funnel? I have a liking for the funnel collar....but I've never done one before. Does any of you know where I could find a pattern or a tutorial for a funnel collar on the web?
Un col, oui, mais quelle forme? Col claudine, un col droit? J'ai une préférence pour un col droit. Mais je n'en n'ai jamais fait. Si d'aventure vous savez où je peux trouver des infos sur le net pour dessiner et coudre un tel col, je suis preneuse!!!

 

I wanted to make the cape details of the pockets, buckles and collar with some black smooth leather I have. Like this Topshop cape.
Je vais aussi faire les finitions du col, des attaches et des poches en cuir noir lisse, comme sur cette cape vue chez Topshop.

Then I'll have to line the inside, the original pattern is without any lining but I like lining and it adds some warmth too!!!
Et puis après, il me reste à coudre une doublure. Le patron d'origine n'a pas de doublure, mais je trouve qu'une doublure améliore le tombé des vêtements et puis, elle sera encore plus chaude!!!
